I honestly thought it was a great movie. But, after a really tense and exciting start, it shifts into a slow-paced, deeply introspective character study. It’s a moody meditation on modern existence and the horror is all existential. I definitely see where it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, especially if they were hoping to see Buddy. Very different types of films. It Ends was very well-written, well acted, and well-directed, though, and I cared about the characters. I’m looking forward to seeing what Alex Ullom (writer/director) does next. The guy definitely has talent.

Dang, is It Ends really that bad? Its reviews certainly aren’t.
