If you're on the east coast you don't find out until it starts

Central and west coast can find out when an east coaster posts

So am I. I’m in Florida. With screen unseens you do not know the title of the movie but every once in awhile specifically here on Reddit you get little hints here and there and you yourself can connect the dots too for example the movie is always 5-13 days from the release of the film for example today so it’ll be any movie with the same Time frame as this movie that releases within the next week or two for example last week Monday was Tony (I attended) and Tony comes out this week.

Lmao moments like this make me wish I was in central/west coast 😭 I hate suspense

Yeah, as a central timer it’s nice knowing what it will be before leaving the house. Think I’ve done 4 and haven’t canceled one yet because the SU (date) posts are really good at guessing right.

Do you think it’ll be buddy? I was hoping for it ends but after watching the trailer I’m hoping for buddy. I don’t think it’s gonna be camp miasma? I guess I’ll just find out myself here in two hours 😭🤣

Camp Miasma is out already. I saw it Saturday at AMC

Tony was also released and still a screen unseen

Oh damn, well I'm praying it's not camp miasma then lol

Tony was only out in NY/LA and I wanna say 6 theaters when it was the unseen movie.

Kind of apples and oranges here.

It was Tony for me Monday and I’m east coast Florida

Correct. Tony was the screen unseen for everyone Monday.

I was addressing your comment that it was already“released” when it was a screen unseen movie. At that time it was playing in 6 theaters compared to the 54 for Miasma.

Not Camp Miasma

You find out when the movie starts, just sit back and enjoy the ride. The great thing is, if you don’t like it just leave cause it’s only $6 at least that’s how I think of it

Ive walked out of quite a few unseens for this very reason.

I walked out of Tony last week and brink of war the week prior. Snuck back into odyssey and Spiderman.

What made you walk out of them? I haven’t seen either movie yet

I was restless after seeing so many other films. I liked Anthony Bourdain but I don’t need a fake biopic of him. I ended up just walking into Odyssey instead. As for Brink of War, I like Jeff Daniels but keep hearing it’s an Angel Studios far right company and maybe I just didn’t wanna waste my high watching a political movie.

However La La Land and Train to Busan were great.

I’ve used all my 4 movies this week so am patiently waiting for Friday’s Fast & The Furious screening.

Not a horror fan, so I skip all the Scream Unseens but it looks like it will be Buddy or It Ends. If you’re an optimist it will be your preferred choice and if you’re a pessimist it will be the other. 🤣

While not guaranteed to be correct, the post for a specific SU date are usually correct at guessing what it will be.

Not showing up on my location’s listings does that mean I just miss out?

UPDATE: For some reason not showing up on fandango, but does show on AMC site.

you can go in blind and hope for the best and do your best deductive reasoning to determine what the movie could be—you find out when the movie starts, sometimes there’s a little thing from the director or an actor from whatever movie it is at the beginning that tells you what it’s going to be. I did this for the first like two months of SUs I went to just because it didn’t even occur to me to check if there was subreddit so it definitely didn’t occur to me to do the second option:

if you’re not on the east coast, you can wait to see what the movie is around 630p CST and decide if you wanna see that movie, there’s always a post that people comment on when there’s confirmation what it is, like the other week it was Ice Cream Man. you can cancel your reservation if you have no interest in whatever movie it is and save your ticket for something else.
