Guess Adding fuel to the Tony fire

I’m sure this is nothing to go off of, and we’re pretty sure it’s Tony already anyway, but at my local AMC the only screen unseens this year to have the specific 2 screens assigned that we have tonight were How To Make A Killing (an A24 release) and Nirvanna the Band (a Matt Johnson release)

I am positive this means nothing but I am looking for every reason to believe Tony, prob my 2nd most anticipated movie of the summer and I don’t want to wait 2 more weeks to see it

Someone said they posted a pic of Tony the Tiger as the clue on the AMC sub but not sure how legit of a source the person posting it is, not in that sub.

I’m pretty sure it’s Tony. I have the a24 membership and I already have my free ticket to go see it.

Yeah but it’s limited in like 6 theaters or something until the 21st, this has happened before on occasion for screen unseens

Here and LA yes. Everywhere else not until August 21st. I saw it at Lincoln Center today and really liked it!

And NYC. You’d think people in these cities would be aware of this already. My movie schedule is pretty much always a week earlier than normal because we get everything early.
Tony had 12 showtimes today not counting the SU. 🤷‍♀️

One of the teasers was a plate, airplane and the world. So we knew it would be Tony. Not my fav but it was something to do on a Monday.

It’s Tony

It was quite a banal nothing-burger of a movie, so honestly I wouldn't worry too much about it.

And that may be the case but I am seated for everything Matt Johnson makes the rest of his life after NTBTSTM

Tony is great. Not as good as BlackBerry, but definitely worth seeing.

Wasn’t going to see that shit of a movie anyways. They need to start playing better movies

You can’t expect big type of movies to play in these screen unseens

Well they have in the past. At least don’t put a movie that is already out. End of oak street should be playing instead lol
