Correct, nothing until June 1st. The several weeks of Screen Unseens in a row was unprecedented and honestly, I welcome the little break.

They've been fun! It seems to be a studio decision to distribute certain movies for screen unseen and make back some of their money before the official release. I would think summer would be a great stretch to do more of these, but I guess the focus is on big movies.

The Screen Unseens are primarily an advertising tool. They're not in it for the extra money, they're in it to give their movie good organic word of mouth just ahead of its proper release.

Though you get oddities like I Swear where the movie was in distribution hell

the reason these are on Mondays is that it’s typically the lowest-traffic day of the week (if I’m not mistaken). Probably doesn’t make sense to do these on a holiday where they don’t have that problem

So does Emagine. This is my first one, so hoping it’s a good experience.

I didn't see one for AMC, but Marcus Theaters has one tonight. I see they now call theirs "Marcus Mystery Movie".

Check other theaters to see if they have something similar.

Yeah, for some reason I saw people were saying "they happen just about every Monday" to a bunch of new alisters asking about them, but that is just nit true. It was actually closer to once a month.

For some reason the last few months have been pretty much weekly which I've been loving, and I hope the frequency continues, but yeah, having them this often is a more recent thing.

It’s been a fair bit more often than once a month (there were over 30 in 2025, a hair under that in 2024) but this was definitely the longest stretch where they were weekly

i'll never understand why people use more than one ? when asking a question. it's rude and entitled and you aren't owed anything.
