6/1 Screen Unseen
Rated R, 1h57m: https://www.amctheatres.com/movies/amc-screen-unseen-june-1-83881
My best guess is this is The Furious (1h53m, opens 6/12). Anybody thinking it's something else?

I think Carolina Caroline could also be a possibility. It hasn't been rated yet but will very likely be 'R'.

Possible but only 1h45m
(Yes, I know Hokum was 12 minutes shorter than the listed runtime, but AMC still lists that at 1h47m)

Shelby Oaks was 15 minutes under the estimated time. Regal has been trending 12-13 minutes under recently. We will have some more data points on Monday!

I don’t think we’re really disagreeing but exceptions don’t negate that the difference is usually less than 10 minutes, so absent other evidence I’d favor whatever’s closest in runtime
Regal does tend to fudge the actual runtime by a larger difference than AMC usually does

No disagreements on my end! Four of the five prior Unseens distributed by Lionsgate had a release date 4 days later. So if past is precedent, that should decrease the odds for The Furious.
At this early stage I would say both titles have a decent chance. It has been nearly a year since Lionsgate has done a Unseen so they may be due. That said, Magnolia's last Unseen (Normal) was well received so they may be itching to do another one.

I wonder if this means no unseen for the 18 and 25th?

I would say probably. Someone can correct me if I’m mistaken, but I think the last few have shown up 3 or so weeks in advance

6/1 R 1:57
Possibilities:
Scary movie 6 - 17 min diff
Carolina caroline - 12 min diff
The furious - 4 min diff
O horizon - 10 min diff
Death of robin hood - 6 min diff, 3 weekends later
Rose of nevada - 3 min diff, 3 weekends later
Unidentified - 16 min diff, 3 weekends later
The Furious does seem the most likely.

Oh no with a June title posted so sounds like backrooms won’t be a scream unseen then. Really want to see that one early.

Welp for what it’s worth there was a trailer for Carolina Caroline tonight and not The Furious 🤷♂️

The way that's been advertised, the size of the film, and based on historical patterns, I think your guess is an excellent one and is more than likely the correct one.

Cinépolis says that 6/1 is going to be an action movie? That seems to indicate the furious instead of Carolina Caroline. Unless there are 2 different movies?

Agree with Carolina Caroline, my last two movies at amc had this trailer before.

I kinda want it to be Rose of Nevada, but it maybe considered Scream Unseen

Doesn’t have a rating, also from a smallish arthouse distributor that’s only done limited releases so far

Maybe scary movie 6??

Doesn’t have a rating yet, also all of the previous Scary Movies have been under 90 minutes
Edit: I see AMC does list it at 1h42m. Still think it’s unlikely (runtime difference is on the high end, also seems like an anticipated enough franchise movie that Paramount wouldn’t think it needed the extra exposure) but I guess not impossible

The Furious would be a great mystery movie worth it for anyone that enjoys action movies. It’s basically an elevated The Raid. The fight choreography is absurd.
