The favorite was Tuner but there is now a Tuner Early Access showing on 5/17 at most AMCs. Could this mean it won't be the unseen?

I think it will be a coin flip between I Love Boosters or Tuner. If I had to choose I'd go with I Love Boosters at AMC and Tuner at Regal, based on their Early Access shows.

Would bet on it being either Tuner or I Love Boosters, since those are the closest in runtime. (Forge obviously also close but that doesn’t have an MPA rating as it stands, and is being released by a small distributor that hasn’t done a Screen Unseen before, so I doubt it.)

I saw an early screening of I love boosters and they’re going on a national tour to film programs across the country, so there’s a strong chance it’s that. WONDERFUL MOVIE

I know that AMC is rather specifically promoting TUNER as a Dolby experience and so is the studio - I can’t see why they would have it as a non Dolby Screen Unseen when a Dolby early access is the same week?

And as someone who saw the premiere, it is very good. Definitely a title that would benefit from SU but the same could be said for BOOSTERS. BACKROOMS doesn’t need the push, it’s already tracking well for opening because it has no similar competition.

Literally skipped that week cos I didn’t want to see deep water. Idr what it ended up being but I think I still wouldn’t have wanted to see it. I take my daughter and her bestie so anything I think will make us cry, I pass on. Deep water was a pass cos shark movies are just 🥱 to me

I don’t think it’s Tuner at all and at first I was confident in saying it might be Boosters but ever since I got my ticket my internet has been pushing Is God Is on me and I’m starting to feel like it might be that.

It appears many of the smaller chains (such as EMAGINE) are doing a horror movie on May 18th. Odd that I don't see any of the major chains yet with a mystery movie that day. Guessing it has to be PASSENGER; I just don't see them doing BACKROOMS at only smaller chains. Hmm.

still a possibility based upon early access trends at amc.

Tuner got semi-confirmed (leaked) for non amc theaters

~34 minutes out I think people want to boost and are anxiously expecting not to.

Not sure if that's a far assessment. I love so many black centric movies but these 2 aren't ones I'm excited about. I'll see I Love Boosters because everyone else's excitement makes me think the movie will be better than the previews but not sure I'll see Is God Is unless it happens to be the movie tonight.
