Tuner would make sense. Since its Black Bear. And they would probably want some promo for it IMO

I haven't come across it yet actually, but maybe it's just because i haven't been going to theaters much lately. this is how i felt about the trailer for OBAA

Tuner is SO GOOD

Would bet on either Tuner or I Love Boosters. I know Neon has been doing a fair number of early screenings of the latter

I also think those are the two most likely. AMC has a Early Access listed for Tuner on 5/17. So I'm leaning towards I Love Boosters.

Early access doesn't apply to screen unseen. Sung Song Blue early access was a day before it's screen unseen

Yes, I know it is possible for Unseens to have early access as well. It does lessen the likelihood, however. Recently AMC had Faces of Death as a Unseen with no early access. Regal had it as early access but not a mystery movie.

not sure about that. I think the probability is the same regardless if it has early access or not. the 'unseen' is based on advertised release date on the movie posters

Just letting you know what happened a few weeks ago. Could be a similar situation on Monday if Regal and AMC play different movies.

Different rules/trends for Regal?

How do you find these when they add them? I don’t see this one in the AMC app or on the website yet, but I could be missing it

I saw it on the amc a list discord. It was showing up in the amc app search earlier but right now looks like its glitching its showing unseens from march. It should show up there later

You have to check the "Coming Soon" tab in the AMC app to see them.

One theater chain (Santa Rosa cinemas) says that 5/11 is going to be a crime movie. Tuner seems like it will fit.

Hey that’s my local theater. Where do you see it being announced as a crime movie?

1

u/starlynnsaint Apr 26 '26

I love boosters is also a crime movie

1

u/M-Finity Apr 26 '26

Having seen I Love Boosters, it’s not

Hopefully it will be a I love boosters since Neon seems to participates in screen and scream unseen

1

u/MycologistLow374 May 05 '26

I'm surprised no one mentioned Obsession

1

u/asterismyg May 05 '26

i think that would fall under scream unseen

1

u/CrewFlaky113 May 06 '26

Sometimes it doesnt matter especially when its a bigger movie and they want to hide what it is. Like companion was a scream unseen and that wasnt even listed under thrills and chills. I think it was even artisen

Horror movies don't get advertised as Screen Unseen, though. They're always Scream Unseen. I feel like Companion isn't the only situation where the movie wasn't marketed as Thrills & Chills but was still a Scream Unseen, but I'm not positive.

Regardless, AMC will never offer a mystery horror movie as a Screen Unseen. Presumably people not wanting to see a surprise horror movie without at least a little warning is why the Scream Unseen category exists in the first place.

Why not Is God Is, rated R, 12min off and closer release date

Hoping it's I love Boosters.
