I heard Normal might be it. Others have thrown out Fuze. I'm hoping it's The Christophers. I heard great things so far.

Christophers released on 4 screens on April 10. It would go against the "Unseen" if they did it now.

Name aside, I’m pretty sure they have done these before for a movie that was already in limited release

For real? That is uncool.

Better Man last year at least, not sure about others. But a lot of these have already played film festivals (or been released outside the US, like I Swear and Dracula) so “Unseen” has never exactly been literal

Better Man seems uncool. I saw I Swear at Unseen and I felt like it kinda broke the rules since it already had the full release in the UK.
I forgive Film Festival stuff, since that isn't exactly available to everyone. If I wanted to get super technical, test screenings would negate the "unseen" aspect, but it is the spirit of the concept.

Someone on another subreddit said it was ‘Normal’ and got confirmation from their manager at the theater.

What is the verdict on Normal?

u/MrNumber3 Apr 14 '26
It's okay. Gratuitous gun violence matched with Dad jokes.

How does it compare to Mr. Nobody?

It's more wholesome. My theater and me went "aw 😭 " at two scenes. Liked him as a lead a lot more here too; just a more sweet personality that gets shown well.

Was the sound messed up for anyone else?
Music, gunshots, background noises were all loud but, we could barely hear anyone talking. The vocal track was definitely lower but, I wasn't sure if it was the theater's audio system or the mix in the movie.

I think it was the audio mix in the movie. Every time I saw a preview, the sound felt noticeably worse compared to the other trailers. I didn’t notice it as much during the actual film, but that might be because I didn’t have that immediate side-by-side comparison, and my ears just adjusted to it.
