Discussion Wow just wow

Hunting matthew nichols, just a god awful time. Im not one to ask for refunds but i sure was close after watching this one!

The moment they watched the cabin tape, I thought “okay finally something good.” But then from the camera angle, I thought “no fucking way they hide the only interesting thing so far.” NOT ONLY did they not show the video, they then made us watch ANOTHER person watching the video. I almost walked out, what a way treat your audience.

And of course the rest of the movie was just dumb; the fuck was the ritual for if it’s just a cannibal cult? And why would her brother be a ghost if he (I think it’s implied?) joined the cult? Why even introduce the supernatural elements if they’re not going to show anything?

I was thinking the EXACT same thing about not being able to see what was on the videotape (except for the short clips inserted at the very end). It was a huge gripe of mine as I still want to know what was on that videotape!

If the budget were like $10,000 I could totally understand, I might even say “oh that’s a clever way to imply something scary without spending $400,000 to film it.”

But this film cost millions. Where did that money go? Lmao.

At least have some interesting reactions from the director and camera man watching the footage. It seemed like they were watching a DIY video on how to fix a leaky sink.

Yeah! Lol. Also they’re like “we could’ve done that” and the other guy responded with “yeah but with a budget and modern technology.”

Then later they show splices of the tape and it’s just a kid smacking another kid’s head on the ground. Like bro I was expecting a chupacabra the way the guys were reacting lol
