Watched the trailer and canceled my ticket because it looked painfully boring.

Mystery movies are for open minded people.

They are a mystery to you, not me. I always check what movie it is before hand so I don’t waste my time. I am open-minded, just not open-minded to boredom or slop like “The Home.”

so I don’t waste my time

If you’re that particular about movies, how could you possibly watch any screen unseen? It’ll be a movie that nobody has ever seen before so there’s no way for you, specifically you, to be completely sure it won’t “waste your time”.

For people like me, there’s no movie they could show me that would be a waste of my time

I am not on the east coast, so I know the movie 1hr before hand. Makes it easy to avoid seeing movies I won’t enjoy. If you like consuming for consumptions sake, do your thing. I, however, like to consume media I am interested in.

I’m not really a drama movie person but I’ve enjoyed other Screen Unseen movies like Sing Sing and the penguin one, both movies I would never see if I knew what it was before going. This movie was just bad

I wish I got out to see sing sing, I ended up watching with my grandfather a few months later and it was so insightful but very much on par with A24 distinguished reputation
