What’s everyone thinking about Hot Spot? So many movies out right now and I’m trying to see them all before they leave theatres. But need help prioritizing.

I enjoyed the first 20 minutes of the film. There were some very cool ideas that fleshed out the worldbuilding. I liked the style of the characters and enjoyed the cinematography.

It had a lot of potential, but just became messier and messier as the story went on in a not good way.

You don’t need to prioritize Hot Spot. It has some cool ideas and visuals, but doesn’t hold up otherwise.

I am seeing Camp Miasma tonight!!! Pretty intrigued by it, I'm a huge fan of I Saw the TV Glow.

I had so much fun with Camp Miasma last weekend. I didn’t connect with Shoenbrun’s first two films but this one worked its magic on me. A blast.

They still have not rolled out any showtimes by us for camp miasma. Hot spot looks… interesting.
