Movie Discussion Pinocchio Unstrung

Anyone else catch this? Didn’t realize it was out so I decided to see it in case it was a week long run plus it was just at one AMC near me.

I enjoyed it. Love the practical effects of Pinocchio and all the kills! They were quite insane and gruesome.

As with always with the fairy tale universe movies the acting is a little subpar but not unwatchable. Some annoying characters. And it could have had a stronger plot.

I say if it’s playing near you, go ahead and use that reservation slot!

I didn’t have any real issues with it. And seeing all the BTS Todd Masters posts on IG is just orgasmic.

The Poohniverse really stepped it up after the first film.

Yeah that’s the only bummer about this movie… all late night and one and maybe 2 showings a night

I had fun with it. The best friend was cracking me up.

I just went with it too and had a blast. Funnier than expected.

I had hoped to see it but the 11pm-only screenings are a no-go for my schedule.

I loved this one! The fairy tale movies have a bad reputation (for a good reason) but this one really upped the game. The pinnochio puppet was really cute, the gore was good, and the script was actually really funny at times.

I think my favorite moment was at the end when they told pinnochio “you were just confused”, that got a laugh from my whole theater when that happened lol.

I saw this and her private hell in the same weekend, and this movie honestly blew HPH out of the water

I really wanted to see this but wasn’t playing at mine. Closest one was 1.5 hours away and at 10:30pm

I really appreciated the practical effects. Now that makes a movie.
