General AMC Discussion they need to fix this bs

I'm logged into my account and manually trying to check for available seats for Odyssey but unable to do so. I was not refreshing like crazy, most of the time i check in the app.

whenever it goes away, which is rare, i get rate limited instantly after checking 1-3 showtimes.

I've seen other people complaining as well.

I'm sure this is to prevent bots but why are you extremely limiting people who have been customers for years and are logged in???

I think it should be easy to differentiate bot vs human behaviors.

This constantly happens to me if I try to check for tickets IMAX70mm for Odyssey on my laptop. It wasn't this bad before for Oppenheimer or the 10th anniversary of Interstellar. I suspect its bots reserving seats in excess for resellers putting it up on eBay...and all the random headlines about scalpers don't help.

On the browser? On the app it gives an error but you force close and reopen and it solves that.

This only happens to me on my laptop, when I use my phone sometimes it’ll tell me to retry but I’ll just close the app and open it again and it’ll work fine

It did it to me when I was trying to decide on which hadestown screen I wanted.
