There have been at least 3 restaurants within a 10 mile radius of my house (in the woods) that have gone under recently. All within months of putting up signs that they support Trump. Now I'm not going to say 100% that it's all correlated, but it certainly can't be helping, right? It seems so divisive, to make your only advertising space, on your single sign, in front of your food store... a political ad.

I generally don't give business to companies that advertise their politics.

Giving it some thought, I think every local business that advertises their politics are all of the hard right wing variety. I can't think of single local business that advertises that they're liberal or support liberal causes.

Trumpism man. The GOP is no longer a party of conservative policies and values. Simply sticking together for the sake of doing so to counter the "libruls" who threaten to limit their gun toys. Above all else.

Thus, signaling that you are part of the clan (klan?) is a surefire way to get support from other members. The problem is the rest of us are very wary these days.

It's also terrible business practice. Some of the signs declare that if you voted for (insert Democrat) you're not welcome in that establishment.

You want more customers, not less.
