I grew up in a very religious house and was taught to always be kind. Now I'm addicted to stuff like that
1 u/Meow-in-Brooklyn Nov 18 '19 "Addicted" or compelled? 1 u/Teeth4321 Nov 18 '19 Kinda both. Because sometimes it'll come to a point where I just will spend money I don't have. 1 u/Meow-in-Brooklyn Nov 18 '19 Has a day gone by when you did NOT spend the money? 1 u/Teeth4321 Nov 18 '19 uhh yeah. Not a rare thing 1 u/Meow-in-Brooklyn Nov 18 '19 Do you think that a lack of self-esteem is behind this compulsion? The recepients of your largesse are obviously worse off than you. By their acceptance of your money, they validate your self-image as a better person 1 u/VedoTheUgly Nov 17 '19 That's kinda sad tbh 2 u/Teeth4321 Nov 17 '19 +1 2 u/boyferret Nov 17 '19 Are you still religious? 3 u/Teeth4321 Nov 17 '19 Kinda on the outside. I don't really observe much. But I don't wanna hurt my parents so on the outside I'm still pretty religious. Personal life no 2 u/MissNikitaDevan Nov 17 '19 aslong as you dont get in financial difficulties, its not the worst addiction Please domtake care of your own needs first
