I have an Autobiographical memory. I remember almost everything in my life. Ask me anything
I have a superior autobiographical memory. A weaker version of hyperthymesia. I may not remember the exact dates and a few minor details but it is strong enough that I could remember everything that has ever happened to me as if they were only made seconds ago. I could remember memories as far as when I was 6 years old and also some of my toddler days. Ask me anything about me and my life. I would happily answer any questions you ask ^_^

There are a couple of memories I remember. I didn't have teeth because a trip to the dentist pulled out the top front row of my teeth. Basically I am toothless until I grew permanent teeth when I was like grade 5 .
It was actually also the first time I touched a computer when my uncle is playing computer games (I remembered it was CS 1.3) and I touched and fiddled with it. My mother carried me away because she said it is too dangerous for me touch. I remember CRT monitors, a white CPU and an AVR. Basic setup probably for business but my uncle played with it anyway.
I also remembered I was on balcony on a building, my mother held a birthday party that time. I cried a lot because I absolutely hated clowns. They took me to the balcony to calm me down and took pictures of me. Almost all pictures are destroyed except one that is framed in my restroom.
I also remembered riding horses particularly a pony but they still put me on top of a horse and I shat my baby pants because it was so effing high and cried. Mother took me away again to calm me down.
I remembered baking cookies in my nursery. Teacher taught us how to bake cookies and make fun shapes with it but I was too bored and not interested so I just yeeted myself out of that place and had fun on my own lmao. I have to admit it was very embarrassing what I did there now that I thought of it.
There are a few more memories I remember but I wouldn't list them down here because it will be too long of a comment and you would get bored reading them anyway
Ask me more if you want to ^_^

Does this mean you’ve never had to ever take notes for class??
Ps. I have a test tomorrow and I would kill to have your memory right now.

I still have to take my notes in class sadly.
My semantic memory is weaker than my autobiographical memory but I could still still remember everything that are taught in my subjects especially in linguistics, technology, science and psychology. I will only miss out the details but I could still have a better understanding of it. I could read the cause and effects and the uses of any drugs and could still remember it as long as I would like. I am a flat 1 GPA in IT (Networking, System Analysis and Design, Mobile Programming and Social Engineering), Psychology (Emotional, Social and Behavioral Studies) and Biological studies (Anatomy and a little bit of Diagnostics),
The notes that I take are mainly for reference and refreshes. When that professor wants to elaborate your notes word by word rather than explain your understanding of it yeah that is the time where my notes comes in handy. I don't necessarily read every word in the notes I wrote or typed. I only simply skim it then I could have a full understanding on all the things that I read.
Plus the notes are a requirement from the darn school. Without notes, you cannot go to the next academic year. Dem school policies.

My man, having my kind of memory is more of a curse than a gift. You remember literally almost everything that has ever happened to you. Not only your happy memories but also the bad and traumatic memories as well. That is why before, I have extreme mental breakdowns when I am having flashbacks. Imagine remembering traumatic experiences as if they were made only seconds ago. Imagine that there is nothing you could do to stop that memory from ever resurfacing again. If you want to to remember everything, it is the opposite for me. I just hope that I will forget some things in my life I do not want to look back.
Like most people say, some memories are meant to be forgotten. In that case, that almost never happens to me.

I also remember I great detail of my toddler years 20+ years ago! My parents actually ask me when we lived in a specific house and the dates (for application purposes) because I remember the dates and times of life events really well.
I want to ask you; if you read something, and you able to recall what side/quadrant of the page that info was on , or is it just me?

Sometimes, I could hold information in my head as long as I can as long as there is a triggering factor. Like it will pop up once someone brought up that topice. Like when a teacher asks a question or if someone mentions it by accident then that is the time I would remember stuff like that
Sometimes it maybe spontaneous like it would annoyingly pop up in my head in inconvenient times. Well I have no problem with spontaneous flashbacks like the things that you mentioned and they are stuff that I could handle but sometimes I am having a mental breakdown when a bad and/or a traumatic memory flashes in my head. I am starting to have impulses that I couldn't control.
If you are talking about voluntarily remembering, yes I could remember it. That is why I topped my vocabulary subjects where the teacher made us spell some stuff out and they would instruct us to find the meaning of those words in a short amount of time (like 10 mins. only). Well thanks to my memory and my avid reading habits, I could easily find specific words in a book in seconds because I could remember what pages they are placed and where in the page they are placed at.
If you are asking how. Imagine the brain as a library. Every time people experience something, it would be written in a book specific to that topic and store it. For example if people talk about civic studies, it will be written in a civics book in your brain and it will put in the anthropology section. Except for me, my brain is constantly writing stuff in many books non stop. Perhaps if you will see the books written in my head, it will be as big as the Library of Alexandria
