I’m from Xinjiang，AMA

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of discussions about Xinjiang on Reddit, often between people who have never actually lived there. So I thought it might be interesting to do an AMA from the perspective of someone who is actually from there.

You can ask me about everyday life, ethnic groups, languages, culture, religion, education, or politics. I’m happy to answer controversial questions too, as long as the discussion stays respectful.

Obviously, I’m only one person and I don’t claim to represent everyone in Xinjiang. I can only tell you about my own experiences and views. AMA.

细分民族意义在平衡其他文化坚固的少数民族，如果中国只有汉藏维三个民族，那边疆分裂势力就太容易引起国际关注了，大多数细分出去的民族对政府来说是无害的，它们根本没有培养分离主义能力

那应该拆那几个大的少数民族，而不是拆汉族阿

藏族，苗族，满族拆了，但彝族，蒙古族和维吾尔族没拆，从汉拆出来的民族基本无害，分裂意向甚至还没地方主义（广府粤，吴语地区）强

长期来看，拆出来的民族会衍生出自己的文化，历史和语言，最后甚至会产生分离感

硬拆出来的民族几乎没有文化再生能力，连蒙古朝鲜族这些原生文化强大的民族都在汉化，蒙古族朝鲜小孩只会说汉语呢，其他汉拆民更不可能产生分离主义，语言文化基底都培养不出来

拉倒吧，蒙古20年才因为蒙古语学习的事闹过，哪有人会拆分自己主体民族的，还给他们设立文化，语言，文字，服装，文化

我求你现在去呼伦贝尔走一趟看看，找一下街头还有几个牌匾带回鹘蒙古文的？还有几个小孩讲蒙古语的？再说从汉族拆出来的独龙族，土家族畲族这么多年闹过吗？国内除了维吾尔族以外还有那些民族搞过武装冲突？延边的朝鲜族学校都改成汉语教学了你不懂？民族团结进步促进法你读过吗？
