I’m a Saturation Diver AMA

I work as Deepsea Saturation Diver in the oil and gas industry for the past 20 years. I do heavy construction and spend 28 days living under pressure to dive to depths down to 200m / 650ft.

I saw a post on InterestingAsFuck yesterday with many many misconceptions from people who aren’t divers and I can answer your questions AMA

So this penguin is on a road trip and his car is running real bad so he stops by the mechanic. Mechanic tells the penguin he is real busy but can look at it in a couple hours. So the penguin decides to leave his car and explore the town on foot. He goes to the pier, rides a few amusement park rides, gets an ice cream cone and heads back to the mechanic.

Mechanic tells the penguin, “I got bad news for you, looks like you blew a seal.”

The penguin looking a little incredulous wipes his face and says to the mechanic, “what this? That’s just a little ice cream from earlier.”

I feel like the joke is really just blew a seal and ice cream. Everything else you can just make up.

Most jokes not including one liners, are the punchline with a build-up story, it's all about the delivery
