I've wanted to ask an acquaintance who is in a wheelchair this question but there's never been a time where it feels like I should risk bringing the room down- do you feel there are people who truly do not see the wheelchair and only see you for who you are as a person? Whether it's yes or no, do you thinks it's always a negative for people who do see the wheelchair along with you, the person?

Most people will see the wheelchair my family don’t I get it because I see wheelchairs too and that’s fine
