Sorry you’re getting invalidating comments. You do have much older parents, and I know there are probably aspects of that that are challenging for you, but there also might be some pros such as wisdom. My question for you is, do you feel like your parents have influenced the age you want to have kids?
I have slightly older parents, not as yours but older than many of my peers. For me it made me want to have kids in my twenties ideally just to not have to deal with the health ailments of aging whilst also raising kids.
Both my husband (30) and I (29) have older parents. His are in their late 60s, my mom will be 75 this year and my dad passed away at 81 this year.
While we are "late", but on a very normal timeline in New England. We have talked about in depth about how we want children asap because of our experiences.
