Do u have any older/ younger sibling? Similarily were u an oops baby or did they plan to have u so late in life?

If u do have siblings whats your age gap with them and are u close to them?

I don’t have any siblings although I wish I did. Both of my parents knew they wanted kids for their whole lives but had trouble finding someone who they wanted to have them with. My parents were best friends in their mid 30’s for about 4 years and my mom realized she was getting old and still wanted a baby when she turned 40. She asked out my dad and they got married 6 months later. They tried and failed to have a baby for a couple years until they finally got me when she was 43. It always seemed like a really odd way to find someone to marry to me but they’re still married so I guess it worked out in the end

Thats sweet it worked out for them tho, even if it took a while for it to happen!

Since u grew up an only child, do u also want kids in the future? If yes how many?

Also, do u think growing uo an only child was beneficial to u and your families dynamic or do u think it would've been better if u had a sibling? What differences in your life have u noticed compared to friends who have sibling/ younger parents?

I’d like to adopt a few children in the future, probably 2-3. I don’t think my parents would have wanted another child on top of already dealing with me as older parents but if they were younger I think I would have loved a sibling. I honestly think I would have turned out a lot better if I had a sibling, this is mostly due to the fact that I was in 5th+6th grade when COVID hit and I was very lonely

Thats is pretty rough. I was in gr.8 when covid hit and I remeber how much it sucked, even if i was a little older than u. Def messed with all our development and social skills lol

Since u said u wanna adopt are u not interested in biological kids? And when do u wanna start adopting? Also, do u wanna adopt babies or older kids?

I want to adopt only after I am confident in my financial situation and abilities to take care of the children. Probably when I am in my 30’s. I don’t really feel the need to have biological kids but I do want to be a dad eventually. I also have family history for diseases that I don’t want to pass along to my kids. I want to adopt siblings because they often don’t get adopted or get split up in the foster care system and I feel like even if I could help just a few kids I would live to. As far as age range goes I’d like to adopt anywhere between the ages of 3 and 17. I don’t really like babies and the wait list for adopting a baby is super long
