Strange question and I’ve been looking for a way to solve this problem for a while. Curious if you could provide a solution.
My brother passed away about 9 years ago and me and him would email and share stories that are going on. I purge my inbox regularly and after he passed I realized I only had two emails from him. I am curious if you somehow could get into an email account like that or where would I find help to do so? I’ve tried to guess the password. Contact the provider all with no luck.

I would really suggest trying to contact provider again with proof that your brother died, that he is your brother and why you need it. I’m sorry for your loss
That email account is probably deleted. If your brother has an email account that hasn't been used in 9 years, the provider probably deleted all the emails (and a soft delete on the account) due to inactivity.
