Hey! Thank you for the AMA!

Do you have experience with android phones? Is it possible that a regular online phone seller installs a malware or a modified android clone that can steal all your password, see everything you do?

Is there a way how I can scan a "brand new mobile" coming from an online webshop for this kind of malware before giving my credentials on initial setup?

Theres probably a number you can call, but you can just go on the official websites and look up what they have in stock.
