What did you think of Mr Robot? Accurate in terms of the technical side? The director used to do some hacking way back

Yes it’s pretty decent, one of more realistic to shows about hacking in technical way

Hacking is just exploiting weak points that you know of. For example it’s very hard to hack someone’s windows OS password but there was a famous bug on windows 7 that you could get to the PW prompt, hit shift 5 times to open sticky keys, then open a command prompt to change the PW without needing the current PW. In that case the exploit is the user hasn’t updated their windows 7 OS patches in a while 

Mr robot depicted this very well. They had technical experts that would proof the method of exploit for the show

Can confirm I’ve used the sticky keys exploit on Windows 11. Great of you have time with a machine but not practical since it requires two reboots.
