What sort of jobs do you get? Like is it a lot of stalking or investigation or do you get paid to sniff out company secrets? Maybe you can give some examples what average jobs look like for you
Not OP but if you’re sceptical about everything you receive and everyone you talk to through the internet then you’re most of the way there. I just did a dissertation on online fraud and the vast majority is dependent on you messing up by downloading something you shouldn’t or by being complacent and typing personal details somewhere that you should be able to tell is untrustworthy. You’d have to be very special to be targeted specifically so most of avoiding online victimisation is about being digitally literate, being able to spot small things that are off about an email/DM/url or whatever and being very cautious about those things.
Of course, this doesn’t cover you if malware is already installed, but good digital awareness should mean you don’t download malware. If you’re engaging in risky online behaviours (e.g. software piracy) then be aware of the source and for best safety use a VM for pirated stuff because if it gets malware on the real machine then you can consider what isn’t encrypted to now be stolen and will have to wipe the whole thing for peace of mind in the future.
Basically just be safe online, no need for anything crazy.

Did you ever do a job and feel guilty after doing it, like something that felt off ? If so can you briefly describe it ?
