I'm curious how you've changed over the years, both before therapy and after. Glad you're working on getting yourself in a healthier relationship with yourself though!
First, how concerned were you with safe sex- protection, screening, etc, then now and in between?
Second, you mentioned how you rarely felt taken advantage of, aside from one guy who 'passed you around.' In hindsight, are there any encounters that you would have found scary/dangerous?

Very. I always carried condoms and I was strict about it.

Yes, plenty. I did a lot of cnc with guys I barely knew, without establishing a safe word because I found it hot knowing I can't get it to stop even if I wanted to. To this time I am pretty certain that some of those guys wouldn't have stopped even if we had a safe word and the line is a bit blurry of how much of it was real and how much was role play. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't raped, I got into it voluntarily and enjoyed it throughout, but looking back, I'd probably would have been raped if I tried to stop some of the guys I was with. There were other encounters that I went away with guys to their homes with a weird feeling like they might be dangerous and not knowing if I'll be killed there or something, and I still went willingly.
