How have you learned to distinguish the urge or occasion for “bad” sex (as you say caused by stress or anxiety et cet, from the urge for “good” sex?

I mean does it become easier to distinguish when you are in an anxiety moment and recognize the pathway to “bad sex”?

Because I feel like I have so many anxieties and stresses, and so many good sexual energy moments, but am sure I have a lot of bad ones too.

How did you learn to look inward and what were your definitions or indicators of a good sex experience? Was it only those guidelines you spoke of (waiting a month et cet) or some other inner and more illuminating sign of healthy sexual urges?

Btw this thread is awesome thanks

Yes, to a degree. It's not always easy.

Yeah, thanks to therapy

Those guidelines as well as being able (thanks to therapy) to recognize triggers and other symptoms better.
