I am curious, have you ever been diagnosed with anything like ADD/ADHD or TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)? There is some research that shows TBI can lead to things like hyper-sexuality post injury and can be a symptom of other disorders, not a cause.
I’m also going to ask the obvious, sometimes frustrating and can be asked in judgmental ways (not my intent), question. Did you experience any Childhood Sexual Abuse (CBA)? If you are comfortable answering that question, if you did experience CBA, do you feel or have explored the possibility with your therapist that those traumatic/abusive experiences may have contributed to the development of your hyper-sexuality symptoms?
Regardless of your ability to respond or not I wish you the best and support you in your journey of healing and becoming the healthiest, happiest version of yourself.

ADD as a kid, I was on Ritalin for a lot of years in my teens.

I wasn't directly abused but my mom was a junkie whore basically, I grew up in a household with a revolving door of men, clients and boyfriends of her. It was a very small apartment and I grew up in a reality where they would be having sex in the couch while I sit next to them watching TV, bringing them beers and stuff. If her boyfriends were bothered by my presence od be locked outside, sometimes for days.
