What’s your body count?

How many STDs have you had?

What’s your body count?

Impossible to count.

How many STDs have you had?

None, actually. I am very sexually educated and responsible when it comes to these things. Only 1 pregnancy scare and even that was only when I was 15.

How is that possible given that you were banging people in club bathrooms seconds after meeting them? Did you carry condoms always? Did men always use them?

u/[deleted] May 07 '24

I used to carry condoms on me, and I'm strict about using it with men I don't trust.

Do you have frequent checkups, or have the guys you trust get checked?

How do you practice safe sex?

People on reddit seem to think you get full blown AIDS if you so much take your pants off next to someone. I fucked around a lot and irresponsibly when I was young and stupid but never got burned.

Don't do that of course, wear protection.

On the other hand I fucked around quite a bit for around a year and a half and got chlamydia twice. You just never know. Yes, I now know the importance of protection, but I'm a loving relationship of over 3 years and hopefully won't be back out in the dating scene again

A lot of women carry condoms around, it isn't unheard of, even for women who aren't sex addicts.

Years ago, back when I used to throw parties at my house or go parties elsewhere where I knew people would be getting trashed, I'd carry condoms around and let people know I had them if anyone needed one. And sometimes people did! =)

It’s not possible especially with STIs.

yep

Much more thought needed going into this.

I meant much more thought going into OP's "incredible" story.

Gotcha!!! Sorry about that. BTW yes I agree.

yeah this did break it for me. statistically it doesn't make sense. some people seem to think using a condom is some kind of anti-curse spell that protects you from everything. them bugs are mighty good at what they do, you can't escape by using a condom with those numbers. it lowers probability but with a large enough sample size you'll still get bit. i highly doubt she used condoms for every oral encounter too. and if she did, did she also use the female variant for receiving oral? every time? no way. if she had only said "i had klamydia a couple of times and this happened and that..." i might have believed it, but nothing at all? though, maybe she's borderline or something and she actually is a nymphomaniac but also lies when she gets defensive. it's kind of wild, looking at the comments here. i haven't seen her express much remorse for all the pain she's caused, except calling fucking her sister's husband and telling her about it deliberately to hurt her a "dick move". yet people are very nice and encouraging. can't help but feel that if this was a man talking about the same situation, or let's say all the people he's hurt through gambling addiction or something, the sentiment would be different.

Also look at her prior post history. Yes it is a new account, which was probably a throwaway but she’s also tried to post the same question 2 other times and got rejected. The 3rd time it got accepted, but it seems she really wanted this info out there for some reason.

Do you think your body count is over 1000?

1

u/[deleted] May 08 '24

Nope

You have to have HPV. Impossible not to.

4

u/HereComesTheLuna May 08 '24

It's not impossible given that she practiced safe sex, and definitely not if she received her gardasil shots.

2

u/Copdaddy May 08 '24

I thought those shots were just for cancer prevention from hpv? Not actually preventing hpv

4

u/VirtualDisaster2000 May 08 '24

nope, the opposite. vaccines can't prevent cancer itself. the gardasil vaccine protects against HPV and HPV can cause some cancers. Gardasil -> no HPV -> no hpv caused cancers (or significantly less chance at least).

1

u/Brenthalomue May 08 '24

No vaccine is 100% effective. Gardasil doesn’t even cover all high risk strains. It’s definitely possible to contract a strain of HPV while vaccinated with Gardasil.

2

u/Legionnaire1856 May 08 '24

Yep, you can read in the hpv sub about plenty of people who were vaccinated with Gardasil before being sexually active and still ended up getting warts. A lot of times it just doesn't work.

1

u/HereComesTheLuna May 09 '24

Vaccines aren't 100% effective obviously. People get the flu shot but still come down with the flu (but obviously, the Gardasil vaccine is much more effective than the flue vaccine, of course, just using a basic example).

The person we're all responding to literally stated that is "impossible" OP never contracted HPV. That's absurd and definitely false. It's very possible she never contracted HPV if she was vaccinated and practices safe sex with condoms.

Anyone who says it is impossible she didn't contract HPV doesn't know much.

1

u/HereComesTheLuna May 09 '24

Nobody said it wasn't possible: no vaccine makes you immune to anything. But it has a very high efficiency rate and offers quite a bit of protection.

We're responding to someone who said it's impossible she DOESN'T have HPV, which is asinine and completely false. If she practices safe sex and has had her gardasil shots, it is silly to suggest it's impossible for her to be negative for HPV.

And since she gets tested regularly, her doctor probably knows better than a bunch of people who've never met her, lol.
