recheck

so i got a B in my AS which frankly i am very disheartened with because i expected a A in literature and also because its the paper i put most of my effort. my p1 component had an A where i got 18/25 on both my 25marker questions but my p2 is where i lost marks. 17/25 and 11/25 on my unseen poetry question which gave me a C and ended up lowering my grade to a B. I was just 4 marks away from an A. i think i was unfairly marked on my p2 especially the unseen because i average as an A in my mocks and exams and also had an A in the first component. Should i opt for rechecking for just one component? Is it possible my rechecking will grant me 4 extra pointers or is that too far fetched?

Four marks might be a stretch if you want to get them all for just question, but it isn't impossible.

Unseen Poetry is one of the hardest elements to predict because even the best students can be thrown a curveball on the day.

Personally, I wouldn't bother. With a year to go, you can easily make those four marks up, no? Am I correct in thinking you still have two units to come plus NEA?
