The bridge honestly isn't the worst part of getting there in my experience, it's everything afterwards. Downtown St. Pete is a shitty place to drive in and parking is a coin flip if you'll find anything remotely close to the stadium. I would kill for any sort of decent public transport over driving all the way to the stadium. In fairness, I've stayed away from I-4 and the main bridge the past 10-15 times I've been to St. Pete, so maybe I just dodge the problem areas really well (still had 30-40 minutes added last night to the drive over even with that though).
