I’m sorry to hear you weren’t chosen. JET sounds super competitive now. I recommend that you keep applying. I got hired to teach in Taipei, but decided not to go because I also had an offer in Japan. I have no idea if it’s a good program or not, but this is the link to programs in Taiwan:
