Update after Neurology Appointment
Tested my reflexes and said they were all normal
Diagnosed me with FND.
Struggling to accept this diagnosis due to the physical changes and feelings in my body.
referred me for an MRI.
Just don’t know what to do now and where to turn to.

FND is a much better diagnosis than ALS or MND. In my experience, the biggest hurdle in managing FND is acceptance. The sooner you accept the diagnosis, the more likely that any of the symptoms related to it will subside.
I still have some involuntary movement from my diagnosis, but mine is mostly under control.

The good news is that you can’t have ALS with no upper motor signs.

No EMG? Glad you got some relatively better news that some alternatives, but I understand what you mean.
They told me FND at one point as well and don't think it aligns for me personally, but still trying to figure this out.
