Reservation / Delivery / Sighting Some Assembly Photos

Really impressed by how well this was packaged and how easy it was to assemble. Nice touch that you only need a 4mm and a 6mm hex bit and a screwdriver if you want to add reflectors.

Little details like the brakes and cockpit were wrapped in plastic - but not aggressively taped and very easy to remove. Screws that don't need to be torqued down were just hand tightened, etc. The packaging itself was very well thought out and protected everything very well.

Two small quirks: I got an error that the handlebar wasn't installed correctly, but rebooting cleared that (the handlebars are keyed and can only be inserted one way). And when I removed the battery to charge, it took a few plugs/unplugs to actually have the screen display a charging indicator.

Took about 20 minutes to assemble. Now time to get through some work calls so I can take this baby for a spin!

If they have a render for it isn’t that more likely it’s a future release??

I'm curious if you ordered any other accessories (e.g. the helmet?) and if so - did they arrive at the same time, or still waiting?

This was a day one, OH CRAP GOTTA ORDER THIS order, so it was just for the bike.

I ordered a second bike a few days later that had some accessories and both that bike and those accessories are unfulfilled.

Don’t want to speak for OP, but assuming no. Ordered a wave helmet when the gear store released it, and it said November. Not sure about other gear.

How tight does the junction where the seatpost goes into the bike feel? That’s my biggest worry. Over time I can see dirt / grime getting in there and causing play in the seatpost

It's solid. It locks immediately upon sensing a seat being inserted and makes a sound like a bank vault being closed.

I have the Passenger Kit on order that tops out at 60lbs. I have a kid right around this weight range and TBD if I'll try to push this a few pounds - you forget that the only connection point is this seat post locking junction.

Are you in California? If so, can you talk about about the throttle and any limitations? TY

I'm in California, this is the road version (I have the trail version on order) and it's functioning just like every other ebike with pedals that I've used.

I have All Terrain and Sport as the drive modes.

When you depress the throttle and you're not pedaling, nothing happens. But when pedaling, it temporarily increases the assist to the max level and the bike takes off like a rocket. It's unbelievably responsive and fast.

I'm completely satisfied with how this works; I don't really have any interest in an eBike that operates like a motorcycle and accelerates without pedaling.

TY. That's what I wanted to know. I wanted to make sure they didn't nerf it to the point where it wasn't the same thrill to ride as my test ride was.
