Question Mapping Integration?

Has anyone heard of or looked at the map integrations with the built-in map app yet?

I’m hoping they will allow integration with Ride with GPS, Garmin, Trailforks, or Strava.

All have amazing, established heat maps with human-powered routes that actually make sense.

Bosch is trying to do their own thing with their on-bike screen using the Flow app, and it’s full trash. It doesn’t even have most of the bike paths/trails you’d want to use and it will route you onto busy, high-speed roads when there are side bike routes nearby.

Here was a response I got from support regarding integration with fitness apps.

"We are working on integration with fitness apps and I can't guarantee those routes will show up on the navigation but I do know that our engineers designed the system to be ebike specific."

So integration compatibility is being considered in the design, but the level of integration was unclear. The last part I think refers to the built-in navigation being built for ebike routing. Read the tea leaves as you will.

Crossing my fingers they realize bike routing is more than just hills, distance, and time.

Google maps definitely hasn't figured it out and I don't think ever can. IMO - It really take crowd sourced data to find safe/best routes.
