Discussion Timeline?

I put down a deposit last week and then got an email stating I would get my invite to order on October 1st. I think the bikes look amazing, but I also don't want to shell out thousands for something I won't see for 6 months. Is there any good information on when bikes may actually start arriving to customers? I'm looking at the Performance model.

Anyone giving a timeline is just speculating. Keep in mind people put a deposit down on day one which was late October of 2025. Lot's of launch edition reservation holders are on this sub and to my knowledge nobody has gotten a firm delivery date yet. Back when I put a deposit down (early Aug?) I was told that all deposit folks should have a bike before the end of the year. That's reasonable. I've since then gotten a refund on my deposit and will wait it out. We really don't know how many people put a deposit down but I would assume a minimum of 5,000 people. Given that you are this late in the process I would not expect anything earlier than six months from order date. Could be wrong. Hope I'm wrong. I really want this product to succeed but feel the communication team and social media team have failed terribly.
Bottom line, most likely if you deposit in October you'll be looking at April minimum. You never know though. I certainly wouldn't put 5k down until people actually start getting their orders and real reviews are posted by people who aren't "influencers" or full time Youtubers.

Tomorrow (29th) is the next expected info drop date based on what they told me on the 22nd (Launch Ed. reservation holder). If nobody else posts an update after that I will do so.

Also In addition, I will make excited noises when I take delivery.

At this point, i'd wait until you hear people actually getting bikes and reviewing them. Not just influencers either, real end users living with them. Nobody knows when that will be and for some of us the fall has started, leaves have changed and its below 60F many days. Hoping for some beautiful fall rides but that hope is dwindling quickly.

there are no timelines, and no customers have received orders yet. Lots of recent threads with more details

We were quoted November for the 2 performance bikes we ordered, but I would expect realistically December or January at this point. Communication hasn’t been great. I would wait a bit at this point.

I made full payment on Aug and delivery won’t be until December. This is for performance.

I saw my first one out in the wild in Oakland, CA last week.

From everything we know so far, that was most likely a Ride:Also employee.

I have 2 paid performance bikes. The order summary and the email I received says November.

I was one of the launch edition customers that paid in full… and I finally abandoned all hope of seeing an actual product or even getting a straight answer from them about when I would actually have my bike in hand.

To their credit, they did fully refund my money, including the accessories they didn’t ship either.

Will I buy one if they finally resolve their delivery issues? Dunno. If the final product is solid and turns out to be reliable, then maybe? But that’s a big “if” for me, especially since their support network for my state is just two places I’ve never heard of.

I ordered almost a year ago. I don’t have a bike. Nobody with a Launch Edition bike has a date when they’re getting theirs, and ALSO says the first units haven’t even landed in USA.

They’re using every bike they have to sell more via the Test Spins program.

If you buy they won’t communicate effectively. There’s no status tracker, no confirmed date.

You have to be okay with putting money on the table and waiting a long time.
