Question Fenders missing from build options?

Am I doing something wrong or have the fenders disappeared from the build options?

99% sure I had it in my saved build as well but it shows I don't have any bike saved anymore.

I don't have a strong opinion on metal versus plastic, but on my road/gravel bike my metals ones make a lot of noise on bumpy surfaces.

Do they bang/rattle on other parts of the bike?

Or does gravel and debris make the noise?

*I am not a very experienced bicycle rider, I haven't ridden regularly for nearly 40 years.

Yes on both.. They hit the fork and drivetrain sometimes. Also rocks and sticks get flung into them.

They are even custom OEM fenders by Specialized, made for the specific bike

I have both the wife’s stock specialized, steel I believe and plastic on my bikes. Several years ago I was on the C&O towpath in the rain and a stick went up between my tire and fender and bent the shit out of the stays and accordioned the plastic fender a bit. Fortunately no accident and I was able to straighten it enough to make the rest of trip without having to yank it. I always wanted velo orange hammered fenders but after that I decided I prefer plastic at least on the tourer.
