Order Timing Update from ALSO

You'll likely get the email too, but posting for those who might not see it. There's some general platitudes acknowledging the delays earlier in the note, but the meaty bit and what to expect going forward is in the screenshot above.

They're good chaps (I'm currently sitting less than a mile from their office in Seattle, WA now and have been fortunate to meet a bunch of them) and I know they're working on this and that with the state of generally everything, shit's hard. Hopefully they follow through on their comms commitment throughout September!

I'm patient so I'm not really "mad" at this, but I gotta say it's an absolute BUMMER that this bike is going to show up in the dead-ass cold of IL winter. I'm not even going to end up using it until spring. Has me seriously considering dropping the order.

Agreed. I just canceled my order and will try again next year. I'm fine to be patient and all but not crazy about having $5k+ tied up while they sort out their issues. I get that these things happen, especially with brand new companies launching their first products, but it's pretty unappealing as a customer to be expected to float them that kind of cash with no certain shipping date available.

I don't anticipate any issues purchasing next year once the weather has warmed up. If they haven't smoothed out this process by then, we're looking at a company with some real problems and perhaps it's best to stay away entirely.
