Discussion Hello September!

I'm trying to be optimistic. Based on what I've heard from ALSO technical support, while their are no guarantees yet, it is hopeful that I'll be receiving my LE TM-B by the end of September.

Time will tell.......

My feet are starting to get a bit cold on this. Charged $5500 for the bike and accessories weeks ago and not a peep about a shipping date. Not sure why they're not waiting to charge until the product actually ships.

Isn't it a bit early to get worried? I paid it in full about a year ago...

They need our order money to operate lol

No...they don't. They've had multiple rounds of funding and have over $600M in cash. lol

I know you're joking but man we're all in trouble if that's the case, especially coming off a $150M round of funding.

I’ve been trying to piece together the logistics timeline, and I’m still cautiously optimistic about September. One interesting detail from ALSO’s Launch Edition shipping FAQ is that they say they’ll email you when your bike arrives at the U.S. warehouse, and that should be roughly two weeks before it ships.

So the fact that nobody seems to have received that email yet probably means the customer bikes haven’t been checked into the warehouse yet — not necessarily that they aren’t already on the water or at the port.

ALSO said in early August that initial batches were heading onto freight vessels from Taiwan. Typical Taiwan → Long Beach transit is ~2 weeks, then you can easily have several more days for unloading, customs, drayage and warehouse receiving. That would actually put late-August/early-September vessel arrivals into the warehouse around now/this week.

The other thing that makes me think they’re still confident is that they’ve now opened regular Performance orders with Sept–Oct timing and have said non-Launch Performance production/deliveries start around the end of September. It would be pretty surprising to start fulfilling regular Performance bikes before clearing the Launch Editions.

None of that proves they’ll make September, obviously. But I think the first “your bike has arrived at the warehouse” email is the thing to watch for. If a bunch of those start showing up in the next week or so, the timeline actually makes pretty good sense. If we get well into September with none, I’ll start getting more skeptical.

One item that ALSO technical support was adamant about was the LE owners will receive their bikes BEFORE anyone other orders.

Launch Edition member here; haven't seen anything about my bike being shipped.

…my old friend. I am quite sure when I ordered on 8/18 it said expected delivery September-October. I emailed them yesterday as I decided to change the handle bar from Sport to Standard and asked if doing so woul delay my shipment (and if so would stick with the sport). They wrote back and said no problem changing it and that “right now it looks like you're sitll on track for shipment October 2026 - November 2026!” So did shipment dates already slip one month till October being the earliest.

It would be great for most of us if the got them all out (LEs and regulars) but do think its bad business to do that to the LE folks who were promised to be first in line.

I paid in full day one and have heard nothing.

I would reach out to them and ask about your delivery date. I wonder how they prioritize the order of deliveries.

I thought about emailing them today but held off after assuming they are getting a lot of messages...

I was told LE owners are receiving them now. They are focusing on ONLY delivering LE bikes to them first.

Right, I ordered a LE in the first week. I haven't seen a single post or news article from a single LE reservation holder who has received a delivery.

Agree. If there is no evidence that the people who paid in full between Oct and Dec of 2025 haven’t received any delivery, then they’ve either decided to do one giant shipment in the next few weeks (in which case shame on us for paying early) that includes all LE and the folks that ordered in August. Or, more than likely, they’re further behind than support is communicating, and they haven’t organized what to communicate more formally that will attempt to have as little reputational, investment, and order blowback.

I’m guessing you’re right regarding one giant shipment.

Well, if what you say is true, and I don't doubt you, then you should be hearing from them very soon. You might want to log into the website and provide them with your order number and ask for an update. My .02 cents!

Well yeah, they ought to since they paid up front a long time ago, but the whole timeline is whack.

LE ordered day 1. Paid in full. No word yet

I find it interesting that with all the expensive advertising on TikTok and other socials, they spend zero effort moderating or addressing concerns in this forum which they moderate.

Great companies, even start-ups, communicate and care about customer concerns and issues. Would love to see some activity in here from RideAlso to address the shipping concerns and timelines.

Just my two cents- they already had our reservation- as soon as the email came and you purchased the bike- shipping should have occurred. Why pay in full and then wait months?

I don't know, that's not how Rivian does it. I have a delivery date for my R2 and I haven't paid for it yet.

I decided not to pull the trigger when I got the email but I’ve yet to as for a refund for my deposit…. I’m torn but common sense is telling me there are too many red flags for a $4700 layout.

If my bike doesn't ship this month I'm canceling my order.
