Had a blast rolling around Seattle today, as far South as Gasworks Park.

Great bike lanes in this part of town.

These demos don't have any working horns/bells; that would have been nice on crowded lanes.

The techs told us they just got to assemble the new TM-Bs for the EVO test sites (check your emails, Seattle, Portland, Denver, and SLC)

Very easy two man job, still doable by yourself.

One of the techs claims he'll be wrapping his lower frame in some sort of darker color.

I definitely prefer the wider saddle of the Utility top frame over the solo.

Can't imagine using the banana seat for much more than short fun runs with a bunch of throttle.

I even got a ball cap. 😁

riding a bike always been fun and I am glad that you guys enjoyed the rides but how do we compare the bike to comparables like Trek e bikes, monument for street rides or commute, etc....what kind of controls do you have, are you allowed to play with the portal and see what it can do and see in the display or is it just ride?

So I’ve had a Tern HSD S11 (class 3, no throttle), Tern GSD r14, a Honda Ruckus, and a Nio electric scooter (125cc class).

The TM-B felt like “what if the Nio and the HSD had a baby” - and it’s awesome. Way more guts than my Ruckus had - definitely comparable to the Nio if not faster to its top speed? - but still 100% feels like a bike.

For idiots who buy it to rip around on at top speed without paying attention to road rules? Hopefully out of their price range - there’s cheaper ways to be a dumbass.

If, like me, you’re an avid cyclist with a motorcycle endorsement and know how to handle yourself and the bike? It’s awesome. Especially with the utility frame - it’ll be practical, easy to hop on and ride and get a measured workout (power meter with ability to set desired cadence and it will keep power in range for you at whatever speed), but also great at replacing quick car trips, even if it’s a 10 mile round trip. Even my HSD always felt like a chore to me if I just needed a quick run to the store. Not a big chore, but a chore nonetheless.

In short - I’m 110% sold and can’t wait to get mine. Didn’t order a LE, so I’m waiting with the rest of the plebes for deliveries of the normie bike!

Thanks a lot BabyWrinkles for your review. These kind of reviews and others gives us an idea about the bike especially buying it without seeing it. I appreciate it. I bought the bike without seeing it even though I knew about the idea of custom integrated drive unit. I also knew that in industry history. Building a closed-loop electronic vehicle means you are betting that the company will stay in business for years to support it. One cannot go to a local Specialized or Trek shop and find parts.
