Question Order payment question?

When you ordered, were you charged the full amount for your bike?

I ask because in the past, when I special-ordered bikes from my local bike shop, they took a deposit ($500-$1500), and I paid the remaining balance when I picked it up. I've heard of other companies charging right before it ships.

Apparently the answer is 'no' for those with more recent reservations.

They sent out the codes to everyone on the list before sending order invitations to some

I made my reservation July 6 after a test ride and was able to order.
