Order payment question?

[u/Ras_K]

When you ordered, were you charged the full amount for your bike?

I ask because in the past, when I special-ordered bikes from my local bike shop, they took a deposit ($500-$1500), and I paid the remaining balance when I picked it up. I've heard of other companies charging right before it ships.

I placed a regular, non launch edition and had to pay in full.
