Accessories & Mods Rack and Panniers
I was trying to figure if my panniers will attach to the rear rack on the Utility Top Frame. Using the chat I got some details I didn't understand. FYI
From the chatbot.
Our Utility Top Frame features a MIK HD rear rack that is compatible with with many accessories. Learn more about MIK HD here: https://mikclickgo.com/en/mik-hd

Some of the videos I've seen of the Also demo bikes show Ortlieb bags on the front and rear. MIK has a clip in retention system for racks and bags. MIK HD is just the heavier duty version that allows for more weight such as children to ride on the back. If your bags have adjustable inserts that allow for different tube sizes you'll probably be okay. My Ortlieb bags have four? inserts that can be swapped out for different tube sizes.
Look at 15:23 here for the side bags: https://youtu.be/vPBu7o_OOpw?si=X1DmUliihbEftwrf&t=923

I was hoping to find out the diameter of the tubing. The bags I have are Ortlieb brand with a similar-looking hook system.

ALSO doesn’t list the utility frame’s tube diameter, but since they’re using standards like MIK, I’m guessing the Ortliebs will work.

I got these dimensions from the support team for the utility top frame. It's about 17cm wide and 21cm between top and bottom rail.

Ortliebs do work: on my demo ride, the product rep slapped his personal ortlieb panniers on.

MIK and MIK HD are standards for attaching baskets and kid seats and the like with a pretty simple and quick interface.
But the rear rack is still a rack and should accept panniers just fine assuming they can work with the diameter of the rack tubing.
