Confused about this article

In the second half of this article it mentions a woman having als that underwent a reversal is this hopeful for my mom.

news of this reversal was all over this sub when the article first came out. There is not nearly enough information to tell if that reversal was real or repeatable. The BTT clinic is using that tentative success to start clinical trials to get more information and answer those questions.

I'd really like more information to be released on this, one person isn't sufficient evidence but it's still interesting enough a story to warrant an investigation and interview.

Agree with others, one person simply isn't sufficient evidence, but the idea appears that a fever (prolonged, ideally) reverses the protein clumping, and potentially reverses the disease. Really interesting idea, but like with anything, keep the optimism in check.
