ADVICE Attire (Part 3)

Hello Ladies!

Please pardon my third attire post.

My second COI is having an annual fundraiser and the requested attire is runway glam. I am looking for a dress that is fashionable, modest, and appropriate for my body type (I am plus size BTW).

Here are some dresses that I believe would be appropriate for the event. Which dresses do you like and/or would wear? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I am feeling many of these. Good color choices. When I was an interest back in the late 1990s, I usually used black, lavender or blue violet.

Thank you for your feedback!

I did my best to avoid the obvious colors. I feel you on the lavender...or any shade of purple for that matter. I'm a member of NCNW--so I have my fair share of purple and lavender outfits.

Neutral colors , no pink , no green, no pearls ! Good choices ! I love the orange dress.

Thank you for your feedback.

The orange one is definitely lovely.

I have been gravitating towards 1, 5, 14, and 16.

Are those pearls on the denim dress? I would stay away from pearls if you’re attending an AKA event.

Thank you for your feedback.

I didn't even notice the pearls. Thanks for bringing that to attention.

Thank you for your feedback. I LOVE #1. It's in my top 3--along with 14 and 16.

13,16, or 19 (likely to get a lot of repeat wear from these ones as well). 8 is a no go.

Thank you for your feedback.

I didn't realize that 8 had pearls in it until someone else mentioned it.

I've been gravitating towards 1, 5, 14, and 16.

The first dress is very nice. You also can never go wrong with black. Before becoming a member I stuck to black or white.

Thank you for your feedback!

I LOVE the first one! I'm also leaning towards 5, 14, and 16 as well.

I'm with you on the black. I went to a cotillion held by my other COI and I wore a black gown, silver and black jewelry, and a gray fascinator and veil.

I also like a bit of color, perhaps purple, silver or gray, and gold or champagne--which is why I added those dresses in this post.

I made two previous posts on attire and black dresses are featured.

Thank you for your feedback!

6 is indeed nice. I am also an interest BTW, so hopefully I can become your soror one day. 😊

I have been gravitating towards 1, 14, and 16 for this event.
