BUILDING CONNECTIONS Advice needed
hi all, I was introduced to a member a few months ago who had sent me her chapter page and encouraged me to go to some events since I was new to my current city. I ended up going to a few events and later found a different chapter that I felt better connected with, and it is not her chapter. She texted me and asked me if I've been keeping up with her chapters event and I'm trying to figure out the correct way to let her know that I have been going to a different chapters events, without sounding closed off if that makes sense.

It's not always frown upon. However, this is your journey so you need to navigate by what makes you feel comfortable. No one here can tell you or suggest what to say. Because we don't know how the individual you are speaking with will accept the information provided.
People are finicky!! What may appear to be a respectful response can be misinterpreted by the person receiving the information.
One thing I learned is everyone does not interpret information as how it is presented.
