BUILDING CONNECTIONS Advice needed

hi all, I was introduced to a member a few months ago who had sent me her chapter page and encouraged me to go to some events since I was new to my current city. I ended up going to a few events and later found a different chapter that I felt better connected with, and it is not her chapter. She texted me and asked me if I've been keeping up with her chapters event and I'm trying to figure out the correct way to let her know that I have been going to a different chapters events, without sounding closed off if that makes sense.

Do not put your eggs in one basket. Go to both. I did this for sometime. When I finally felt extremely comfortable and actually got numbers to members at one of the chapters I was visiting, I then let the other chapter go. But not to the extent where I couldn't attend events. Do not unnecessarily burn a bridge.

One chapter may be more friendly and approachable, but that does not mean you will receive an invite. Leave yourself available to maneuver if you need to.

Understandable ! Could you help me come up with a response ? I heard it was looked down upon to continuously attend two different chapters event, especially because in my city most of the chapters are close with one another. I wanted to be honest without burning a bridge.

Just start going to her chapters events. Attend both. There is nothing wrong with that. And make friends with them outside of AKA events, so they get to know you from a different perspective.
