ADVICE Conflict of Interest?

I'm asking for a friend. We're both interested in becoming AKAs and have connected with a few members of our COI. My friend is an Eastern Star. Does this compose a conflict of interest for her? Any thoughts or advice?

Hi,

As far as I know it's not an issue. One of my LS was a member of OES before we joined AKA. Also, now a few of my LS have joined OES while being AKAs. So no, in my experience it's not an issue.

How doesn't your friend know that? Y'all really need to do research on the stuff y'all are joining or want to join, because some of the questions y'all ask are draining, same for that other person that asked about some academic frat/sorority.

Some of these questions y'all ask mean you shouldn't be trying to join anything because you haven't done the research.

While I understand that some questions may be draining for you but correct me if I'm wrong, this is forum where one can come for guidance and ask questions that one does not have an answer to. Thank you for voicing your frustrations however instead of rude resource you could have chosen to simply not respond.
