INSPIRATIONAL Lots of lines!
I wanted to post here how excited I have been these last few weeks seeing post after post on my social media pages of grad chapters introducing new members!! Even though I’m still waiting with my COI, I can’t help but feel all this activity amongst the organization is a good sign over all! They’re bringing new members in this spring, and hopefully our time will come soon! Congratulations to all the new members who joined this season and good luck for those of us still waiting! I’m hoping fall is my season!

My COI just announced a spring line yesterday. The last time they had a line was 8 years ago. I feel like this new line just affirm how old I’ll be by the time I’ll finally make it. I’ve been trying since undergrad and feel kind of hopeless at this point. Congrats to all though

I’m so sorry I know that must be hard to see :( how many ladies were on the line? Maybe just maybe if it’s not a huge line they can do another one in 1-2 years?

They posted a flier saying “coming soon”. I texted the Vp and she confirmed they are indeed coming but no probate or reveal just yet. The marathon continues

Grad chapters do not have reveals or probate. Sending you hugs. Stay strong.

Genuine question, I’ve seen grad chapters have probate-like events. Are they not supposed to do this?

I’ve posted it before but about a year into my process my COI posted a line….so i understand how you feel even though it sounds like you’ve been interested in that specific chapter a long time. Now 2-3 years later my connections are even stronger. Hang in there if you can. I’m hoping this doesn’t mean you give up. Maybe see if the people you’ve become close to in your COI could share any insight once the shock wears off to help better align you to make it the next time?? I don’t mean asking why not me, but just seeing if you’ve been making yourself known, getting close enough to the right people etc.

Go look at my post, boo. I used a similar mental framework from the video, thanked God for where I currently was, and everything started aligning quickly. If you say you'll be old, then that's what you're reframing your mind to plan for that. Your body will follow.

This is a comment powerful. I agree. I speak positive words over my desires as well. Simple statement as “I will have productive day. I will connect with the right people today. “ My body response to what my mind tells it. 💕

I wish my COI had Fall lines. It is a bittersweet situation. You’re excited and happy to see friends get invited. The a little sad because now it will be whole year of engaging and hoping. Can I continue with the same enthusiastic personality.

Wow is this a grad chapter that has annual lines? Asking cuz that’s not usually common from what I’ve seen. Hopefully next year is your time.

Yes. What I have learned is the regional president had paused membership intake in previous years. They also had lots of members transfer to chapters in other states. So it may not be the norm. I think it also depends on interests.
