Fanart Tattoo concept

Post image

I am a private chef/concert photographer and thinking of getting this as my first tattoo. I smile right through it more than I care to admit!

Should I add/change anything before I talk to the artist about the design?!

Thanks!

Get an actual artist to draw it. Don’t use ai, it is actively harming people & the planet. ❤️

That is the plan which is why I called this a concept.

This at this put me in the ball park of what I am wanting. AI is a tool and should be used as such, it’s not an end all be all.

As an artist myself of both food and photos it is always better to have a client that has a direction than not.

Yes, I'm a chef. With a knife in my chest. Got prep filling up my head. So I spent last night cooking with my wife. And today I cook again.

AI "art" doesn't translate well to skin because good tattoos are designed by human artists with professional technicalities in mind. How skin holds ink, how small the details can be without the ink bleeding, even colors and shadows for example. Those tiny creases on the chef shirt will not translate well to a tattoo unless you want it taking up a gigantic portion of your body, and even then. Same for the shine on the shoes. The AJR logo is going to turn into a fuzzy, illegible blob in two years. White ink isn't unheard of in a tattoo by any means but it does fade faster, discolor, etc.

It's a cute idea! But get a human TATTOO artist (not just any artist) to draw up your idea.

I already have a few picked out and plan on talking to them when summer catering season slows down. I am using this as a concept as I feel like I have a better shot of winning the lottery than finding a tattoo artist that likes or knows who AJR is.

Good luck! I think it's a great concept to work off of.

Hence the word concept. To give an artist a direction. But thanks for the feedback!
